Head of Corporate Communications TBBE (36 - 40 hours a week)

The Head of Corporate Communications reports to the Group Director Corporate Communications & Investor Relations.

How you will make a difference

  • You are a member of the Leadership Team of CC&IR, and as such contribute to an effective, well aligned communications function supporting the strategic objectives of the group.
  • You are responsible for managing the TBBE corporate communications team and you are a strategic advisor and support for MD and country Senior management on communication issues.
  • You develop country specific strategies in line with the corporate communication strategy of Triodos Bank and in line with country specific needs and challenges to improve the bank's reputation and advise management and other employees on all aspects of (internal and external) communication.
  • You actively monitor internal and external communication stakeholder engagement and pro-actively develop communication tools for further improvements while leveraging group wide communication tools and channels.
  • You act as a spokesperson towards the media and represent Triodos Bank in a variety of industry and/or professional forums, boards, and committees, to promote the company.
  • You are committed to making TBBE communications more inclusive and accessible.

To be successful in this role, you have experience with building and strengthening the reputation of a values-based organisation and brand.

This is complemented by:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in the communication field
  • Excellent language skills in English and country specific language
  • 8-10 years experience in preferably more than one communication or brand specialism
  • Strong personal connection with the mission and values of Triodos Bank.
  • Experience in working in a complex, international environment.
  • Constructive dealing with a lot of different stakeholders.

The Corporate Communication department TBBE is part of the Group function Corporate Communications & Investor Relations. This function is responsible for country specific communications strategies in line with the corporate communication strategy of Triodos Bank and in line with country specific needs and challenges.
